Terms of Service
Last updated August 23, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Caize.ai, operated by MK AI AB, a company registered in Sweden (reg. no. 559577-3010), with its registered office at Kastanjegatan 19C, Lund, Sweden ("Caize.ai," "we," "us," "our"). The Service includes our website, AI-powered case interview practice tool, CV Builder, Job Watcher, Events, and Case Education library (together, the "Service"). By joining our waitlist, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the Service.
1. The Service
Caize.ai is a career-preparation platform designed for students and early-career candidates pursuing roles in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, and venture capital. Through the Service, users can practice simulated case interviews with AI-driven follow-up questions and feedback, take a career path assessment, build a CV, monitor relevant job postings, learn about career-related events, and access reference material on interview methodology. The current beta scope of the Service is described in Section 2.
2. Beta Status of the Service
Caize.ai is currently offered as a beta version. At this stage, the Service consists of case interview practice sessions and the related AI-generated performance feedback and scoring described in Section 6. Other features referenced in these Terms — including the career path quiz, CV Builder, Job Watcher, Events, and Case Education library — are under development and will be introduced progressively as they become available. We do not commit to a specific date for the release of any feature not yet live.
The beta version may contain errors, incomplete functionality, or features that behave differently than in a final release, and it may be modified, limited, expanded, or discontinued at any time as we continue to develop the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to disclose known limitations of the beta version at the point of purchase.
If you take out a paid subscription during the beta period, you do so with knowledge that the Service is not yet complete. Where applicable consumer protection law grants you a statutory right of withdrawal from a distance contract, this beta status does not itself remove that right. That right is affected only where you have separately and expressly confirmed, at the point of purchase, that you wish the Service to begin immediately and that you understand you will lose the right of withdrawal once you begin using the Service, in accordance with applicable law.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the age of majority in your place of residence if that age is higher, to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Accounts and the Waitlist
Prospective users may join a waitlist prior to registering. Joining the waitlist does not create an account and does not by itself grant access to the Service; it is treated as a separate and preliminary record of interest.
To use the core features of the Service, you must register an account and provide accurate information, including your name and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that takes place under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or other breach of security. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred. At present, accounts are accessed using an email and password; we may introduce additional sign-in methods in the future, at which point these Terms and our Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before such a method becomes available to any user.
5. Subscriptions, Fees, and Billing
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; Caize.ai does not receive or store your full card details, and payment credentials are held solely by that processor. Applicable plans, prices, and any trial period will be disclosed to you before you subscribe. We may adjust pricing or plans prospectively; any such change will not apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for. We may from time to time issue promotional discount or access codes, redemption of which will be recorded against your account and may be subject to additional conditions communicated at the time of issue. Members may also receive a personal invite code through our referral program; discounts earned by referring active members are applied to the referrer's future invoices, and we may withhold or reverse referral credits obtained through fraudulent or abusive referrals.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date; we do not provide partial refunds for the remainder of a billing period already paid for. Where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period on your first subscription (for example, within 14 days of purchase), that right applies in addition to, and is not limited by, this section, except to the extent you have expressly requested that the Service begin immediately and acknowledged that doing so may affect your withdrawal right, as described in Section 2.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for non-payment, subject to any notice period required by applicable law.
6. Practice Sessions and AI-Generated Content
During a case interview practice session, your spoken responses are converted to text and stored, and this text is used to generate follow-up questions, scoring, and written feedback through artificial intelligence. If you enable your camera, the video is shown only locally in your own browser during the session — it is not recorded, uploaded, or stored, and no facial recognition or other biometric analysis is performed. The animated figure shown on screen during a session is a static, pre-generated visual and does not depict you or reflect anything about your appearance.
Feedback, scoring, and written evaluations generated through the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and are intended to support your own practice and self-assessment. This output is not a guarantee of your performance in any actual interview or any hiring outcome, and it does not constitute professional career, legal, financial, or psychological advice. Automated systems may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete output, and you should exercise your own judgment, seeking guidance from qualified professionals where appropriate.
The business cases, questions, and supporting materials presented within the Service are created by Caize.ai and are not user-generated content.
You should avoid disclosing health information or other sensitive personal details about yourself or others while using the Service, whether spoken or visible on camera, unless directly relevant to answering a case question. Caize.ai does not request such information and does not intend to process special categories of personal data.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose; to submit content that is defamatory, harassing, or infringing of a third party's rights; to attempt to extract, copy, or reverse engineer case content or underlying systems; to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service; or to access or use another person's account without authorization. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
Operating the Service requires us to engage third-party providers who process certain data on our behalf, including a payment processor, one or more artificial intelligence providers used to generate feedback and support voice features, an email delivery provider used solely for transactional messages, cloud storage and hosting infrastructure providers, and an error-monitoring service used to help us maintain reliability. These providers act under contractual obligations limiting their use of your data to the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and case library, is owned by MK AI AB or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Service for your own career preparation. You retain ownership of the content you submit, including your spoken answers, and grant Caize.ai a license to process and use that content solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and, during the beta period described in Section 2, on an evolving basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that AI-generated feedback is accurate or complete, or that use of the Service will improve your outcomes in any actual interview process.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MK AI AB will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Caize.ai against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings. Closing your account cancels any active subscription immediately and your access to paid features ends at that moment; no refund is due for the remainder of a billing period already paid for, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or as required by law. The treatment of your data upon termination is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available through the Service, and for material changes we will provide reasonable notice before they take effect.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, except where mandatory law entitles a consumer to bring proceedings in their own country of residence.
16. Contact
